Overview
The Mahani team sought an identity that could position them as a premium sanctuary rooted in modern naturalism. The brief emphasized a deep reverence for stillness, intentional design, and elevated touchpoints—from the logo system to product packaging. In response, we designed a flexible brand suite that merged timeless luxury with softness and approachability. Multiple logo marks, wordmarks, and stamp-style alternates allow for elegant usage across printed goods, spa labels, and digital presence.
Concept and approach
Visual Language & Brand Concept
Mahani’s brand is built around a calming, earthy palette featuring deep forest green, warm blush, soft cream, and grounding clay tones. These tones evoke the sensory richness of spa rituals while keeping the visual experience grounded and minimal. Typography blends classic editorial energy with softness: a modern serif for the brand mark paired with a fluid script for the tagline, A Ritual of Stillness. The custom monogram draws inspiration from nature—symbolizing blooming, breath, and rootedness. The design system was created to allow for layering textures and variations without losing brand clarity, offering the Mahani team adaptability across print, digital, and packaging.
Conclusion and findings
Final Outcome
The final identity delivers a deeply intentional visual presence that aligns with Mahani’s philosophy of wellness through simplicity and ritual. The flexible logo suite empowers the brand to scale across future spa product lines, event experiences, and in-spa environments. Since launching the brand refresh, Mahani has seen increased engagement across their pre-opening email list and social campaigns. The visual system has helped build anticipation and trust among their luxury clientele, supporting their positioning as a serene, design-forward wellness destination.
